I emailed Mat1600 a few weeks back...he said when he makes more, he will post the announcement here on this forum...but not sure what thread. I sure don't want to miss the next go around.

It's a pity the adjusters are not being produced anymore. I regret not buying a set all those years ago when I first bought the bike (mainly as I didn't have the confidence to jack it up, fit them and realign the belt). If there's ever a new batch I will definitely buy a set if I can.

I went on a tour of the Triumph factory here in the UK late last year and the Tbird 1600 and it's variants appear to be airbrushed from their history. I even commented this to the guide. Visiting the factory you wouldn't know they'd ever been made there.

I think every post I've seen say they are more accurate and better than the originals. I see it as an upgrade!

...like I said, my belt is dialed in. But if it's that important to you ping Mat.

Correct! They aren't a "must have" but make the job a lot easier and provide an extra means of locating and holding the axle in position.

Lee, i respect your opinion. Adjusting the belt boils down to preference. I prefer laser- it's easy, accurate and use an inner nut to keep the axle in place.

Mat's adjusters are just that, adjusters, nothing to do with alignment measurement. I'm sure the laser is good, I prefer the Triumph tool, it's mechanical, fool proof and you can take it on a long ride for use if need be. The inner nut system works but is agricultural compared to Mat's. Horses for courses.
